What are Pilio Credits?
Pilio credits are virtual currency used to pay for Pilio's AI-powered tool services, such as AI deep watermark removal for PDFs and images. You can earn credits through subscription plans or purchase credit packs anytime. Credits are not cash and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
What types of credits are there? Do they expire?

How much do credits cost?
Credit pricing depends on your subscription plan or the credit pack you purchase. Larger credit packs offer lower per-credit pricing and better value. We support major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, processed securely through Stripe.

How are credits consumed?
Credit consumption depends on the tool and feature you use:

Tip: Basic tools (PDF structural watermark removal, Gemini watermark removal) are completely free and consume no credits.
In what order are credits deducted?
Credits are consumed by expiration time: credits that expire sooner are used first, and permanent credits are used last.
This ensures credits that are about to expire are consumed first, maximizing the value of your credits.
How can I check my credit balance and usage history?
After logging in, go to Account → Billing to view your current credit balance and usage history.
Why can't I use certain features even though I have enough credits?
Having enough credits only covers credit consumption. Some capabilities may still be limited by your account status, current plan, tool-specific quotas, or system safety limits. When that happens, Pilio will tell you whether to sign in, subscribe, upgrade, or buy more credits.
Can I still use credits after my subscription expires?
Yes, but each credit type follows its own validity window:
- Subscription credits reset at the end of each billing cycle — unused subscription credits will expire
- Free Monthly Credits are only valid during the month they are granted, and will expire at the end of that month if unused
- Credit packs never expire and are unaffected by subscription status
- If your account remains verified and you still do not have an active Pro / Ultra subscription, the system will continue granting a new batch of Free Monthly Credits each month
What is the refund policy?
- Subscription plans: You may request a refund within 3 days of your first purchase if eligible
- Credit packs: Non-refundable once purchased, but credits never expire
