What changes and what stays

The new piece keeps its color, fabric, pattern, buttons and zips, and sits on you with folds and shadows that follow your pose. Everything else comes from your photo: face, hair, body shape, hands, whatever you are holding, the background and the light. Clothes you do not replace stay too, so trying on a coat keeps your own jeans and belt.

The garment can be a flat lay, a hanger shot or a product photo from a shop page. No photo of it? Switch to Describe and write what you want, like “black leather jacket”.

The result still looks like your photo, with the same sharpness, skin texture and framing, not a glossy AI render.

Use photos of yourself or of people who agreed to it. Requests to undress someone or to make revealing edits are refused.

How to change clothes in a photo

  1. Pick your photo

Any clear photo where the clothes you want to replace are visible. Mirror selfies and full-body shots both work.

  2. Add the clothes

Upload a clothes photo with the whole piece in view, or switch to Describe and type something like “camel wool coat”.

  3. Change and keep editing

The result appears right here. Download it, or open it in Studio to ask for changes like wearing it open or rolling up the sleeves.

AI clothes changer FAQ

Is the AI clothes changer free?
New accounts get 6 free credits, enough for three outfit changes. After that each change uses 2 credits. Trying the sample photos is free.
Will the result look like a real photo?
Yes. It keeps your photo's sharpness, skin texture and framing instead of smoothing or over-sharpening it. It runs on GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst, which kept the original look best when we compared models on the same photos.
Will it change my face or body?
No. Your face, hair, body shape, pose and background are kept from your photo. It is still an AI edit, so check small details such as hands and jewelry before you share it.
What garment photos work best?
A flat lay, hanger or product photo where the whole garment is visible on a plain background. Small logos and printed text may come out slightly different from the original.
Can I change a whole outfit at once?
Swap one piece at a time for the closest match. For a new top and trousers, do the top first, then use that result as your photo for the trousers.
Is this the same as a virtual try-on?
It shows how the garment looks on you in a photo, but it does not predict real size or fit. Check the shop's size guide before you buy.
Can I use photos of other people?
Only with their permission. Requests to undress someone or to make revealing edits are refused.
Do I need a photo of the clothes?
No. Switch to Describe and write what you want to wear. A photo gives the closest match when you want one specific item.
